A doodled digital version of one of my paintings I did in my Drawing class at Uni. I swear, the traditional version looks a lot better, and yes, I also know the mountains here are all the same size T___T
You know, boss, this isn't bad at all!! And believe me when I say so... I'm jealous of your skill, and I'm jealous of this outcome... Why...? Because I have never managed to doodle something fast, and make it look great at the same time... I can paint,at some point, but not in this free style painting... I've always enjoyed more in these kinds of work, which represent ones creativity to make something that looks great in just a few strokes, than in those that spend enormous amount of time to make something look superb... Sure, those are superb to free style paint, there's no dilemma in that, but in my eyes, paintings like this are always better... That's the very reason why I tend to make my images so soft and unreal, only because I just can't simply block in base colors and make it look great... Favored...
Great job boos, just great!! How much time did it took....?
Your comments make me so happy, Hama! <333 Actually, your skills are way better than mine. You use a mouse and yet you have so much patience to finish your painting, be it by using a reference or not. I used a tablet, Photoshop CS3 [not CS5 because I still can't get the brushes to work right my tablet] and about 2 and a half to 3 hours to finish this. And the mental image in my head of a traditional painting I'd already done. I have yet to scan that painting... I did wish at some points to use the Mixer brush. It would make my life easier T__T
